As a Nee York City lifer, I’ve always enjoyed the apartment life. I loved living in one until the time was right to move with my family to Queens. Yet, as this pandemic winds on, to read reports that tenants are bailing their apartments and skipping out on paying rent , I have to ask if the eviction moratorium is what progressives would like to call a ‘fair share’.
This idea of a fair share should not pertain to just the tenant, it must also pertain to the landlord who is owed the rent every first of the month. To answer whether this Eviction Moratorium is a fair share policy, I turned to Cassin and Cassin , LLP partner Steve Ebert.
