I’m sure you have a hometown sports team. That’s what Tik Tok is teaching me. The love of ‘Red October’ isn’t just confined to rooting for the Phillies this magical run just on Broad Street. I even saw videos from FLORIDA and elsewhere .
What does that mean? It means while we see 40,000+ on our tv screens, fandom goes way beyond the dimensions of Yankee Stadium, Citizens Bank Park, Citifield or even South Bend for us IRISH fans!
I’ve been fortunate to not only be a lifelong New Yorker but to get to local games in NYC at said Yankee Stadium and Citifield, but even those at our ballparks are tourists, am I right?! The road trip to Philly for myself on July 3rd to watch the Phitin’ Phils was so special because it is my second favorite city!
